2007 Ford F-150 NO BRAKES

Asked by Holli Marie Dec 25, 2019 at 05:39 PM about the 2007 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCab

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so we have changed out calipers and
brake pads as well as one brake line
unfortunately we have one brake line
(driver's side front)  clamped off. I'm sorry I
don't remember the reasoning behind this as
I'm writing this for my husband. But as we
were driving we realized we have no breaks
at all. What could be the problem? We have
bled the brakes and bled the brakes and
bled the brakes. Also how do you reset the
emergency brake?

Bring the vehicle to a brake specialists. clamping off a brake line will mess up the ABS system which controls brake pressure to the individual wheels. Don't mess with it yourself. It can be under hundreds of pounds of pressure. And I do not believe it is possible to bleed the abs system on a bench.
