Harmonic balancer

I have a 2005 ford freestyle limited with 3.0l
duratech dohc v6 do i need a special tool for
balancer? I tryed the three hooked balancer
tool but the hook part was to thick.. Do they
take a special tool? Please help!!

Not sure, but maybe check with a local parts store that rents tools and maybe they will know which it takes.
