I'm with Tom on this one, it's going to depend on personal preference and if you need the utility of AWD where you live.............

I would go for the wagon but really the best way to determine which one to go for is by assessing their maintenance records and especially get a Pre-purchase inspection done by a reputable unbiased shop to see which one is better.
