can i drive with the ABS indicator on

My 2003 BMW 525i ABS indicator light comes on afterten minutes of drving. Is
it safe to drive?

Your braking will be compromised in slippery conditions or when panic braking.

You still have hydraulic brakes, just not assist from computer when one wheel slips versus another.
