2002 Bmw 530i E39

Turn key hear a click under dash
behind glovebox, that is it no lights, no
response from ecm battery charged up
almost 13v. Was told when I got the
car for me and my son it needed an
alternator and battery for key fob
changed out both no luck, please
someone tell me something PLEASE
HELP if possible
