Anoying drag/sound

My right window, or..sometimes the sunroof opens a millimeter or so at speeds exceeding 220-230 which cretaes a loud, anoying sound...  Anyone else experienced this?

220-230kmh? thats about what... 140mph? Can't say I've been in a new BMW, but I'd be suprised if at that speed if something like that didn't happen... Where do you live where you can drive that fast to where the sound would be annoying?

Sounds like you have some play in the gears of your sunroof and window motors. Besure to have a dealership check the cars motor alignments and that they have no bad teeth in them. the car should still be under warranty.

I've experienced nothing of the sort with mine... not that I've ever gone that fast (LOL).

At that kind of speeds, the low pressure areas such as the windows on the sides on the very surface and the top of the car like the sunroof creates a vacuum towards the high pressure area where the air is rushing thus pulling the panels towards it. It's normal for this to occur. Best way to fix this is not to drive at those speeds. lol
