Which Sensor in the BMW controls the
overall power and drive? Which sensors
should be daily checked and tightened?

Sensors should be connected properly and won't come loose. Upstream O2 sensors will need changed at some point, especially over 100K miles. Others one, change when needed and when you have trouble codes.
