My EML light and engine light are both on.

One day I tried to start my car  I thought it was the oil so I
changed my oil, once that was done I tried starting my car
again and it won't start . The engine light and the EML
came on what might be the reason for that the starter or?

The key you are using might be a spare or replacement FOB. Try using the original key. Sometimes you can have a key that opens the door but wont start car.
