BWM- Replacing window button

Asked by Alex Nov 06, 2015 at 02:38 PM about the 2004 BMW 3 Series 325i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both front window buttons on my 2004 BWM 325i broke off! Do I need to
replace the entire button panels? Ive seen the caps and the panels for sale on
Ebay and I've watched a few videos on youtube explaining how to replace the
entire panel but mechanically the windows work- just the plastic cap is
missing. I appreciate any advice...Thanks!

I would replace the panel to prevent further maintenance down the road. https://youtu.be/IhhnqjSI7SA
