Coolant leak

Asked by Winstonchurch Jan 29, 2020 at 12:04 AM about the 2002 BMW 3 Series 325Ci Coupe RWD

Question type: General

My 325ci has been running hot.  I changed the
water pump,  thermostat, reservoir tank and fan
clutch. And it's still leaking from the bottom of the
reservoir tank. Come to find out I was missing the
screw plug! Lol. However with that said no more
overheating but my heater wont blow hot. Any
suggestions of why? Heater valve maybe?

like FOR said, purge air out of system, can take more than one try.

youtube has a few videos on how to properly bleed an E46. Engine off, cold, heater on max.
