2001 330ci - Car keeps dying / battery light stays on

2001 330ci - battery light came on and off for about a week then car died while
driving. Bought new battery drove it home, parked it and drove to work (40min)
then car died again... battery light never turned off.. please help

its your alternator not charging .once battery light is always on know that your alternator need to be looked at then ull be to be on the raod again
