I am about to buy a 2001 BMW 330i with 260,000 miles is it worth buying it, it
needs a new clutch and fly wheel as well. but my only scare is the miles. this is
my first time buying a BMW and I want to make sure its worth the purchase

If you can purchase it up for under $500 and have another $6K to put into it on repairs and replacement parts over the first year and do most of the repairs yourself, then by all means.

Mileage isn’t a big deal unless it’s been neglected. If it’s cheap, I say go for it. The M54 is a solid engine and known to last forever when maintained.
