Hi, I was wondering if you can buy a performance chip for a 1987 BMW 325e? Also where can you purchase them?

Ebay they're cheap. Don't forget to compare the chip with the number off of the ECU/DME. It's the metal box located under the glovebox. The chips off of Ebay work great. Had one for my 86 325e, 88 325i, 89 325ix, and 95 525i.

If you Google G-Force in California, you will find they make chips for just about any vehicle.

yes, many people do but they're usually around the $300 range. I've bought a few good quality chips for older BMWs off of Ebay around the $30 range.
