I have Bmw 2011 1 series replaced a window switch because the old one would let Windows go down but not back up. The new switch is not working any advice on why?

If the master switch does not work with the new switch then the replacement switch is not compatible with the car. If the master switch works and you need to have the window regular and or the motor looked at. I think most likely it is the window regulator.

switch the two window switches. If the window works with the other switch you have a compatibility issue. If it's an issue with the regulator you should here a small sound as electricity is applied, but no movement.
