I drive a 2011 Jp Grd Che.My tire size is 245 70R17 and I wanted to buy some rims that have a tire size of P305 45R22. Can these rims even fit in my car and if they do will they rub when I turn them?

22's fit just fine on Grand Cherokees. There is a misconception in regards to sidewall series/height. It is all a math equation. Not all 45 series tires have the same sidewall height. For example, the 305/45/22 in question would actually have MORE sidewall height than an OE 265/50/20. However 305's are to tall and wide those are more for a 1/2 ton platform. You can do a 285/40/22, which will be slightly taller and wider (than OE 20") fills up the wheel wells and looks better. You do lose just under 3/4 of total side wall height or .36 on either side. I have a 12' Overland and can lower the air ride as low as it will go and still no rub. Ride is not rough and I am assuming you don't plan to take your GC off-road. Falken makes the STZ-05 which is actually an all season and gets around nicely in the winter months. I've been in the aftermarket wheel/tire business for 12yrs now working in both retail and distribution. Now a days I am the person retailers (Discount tire is one of them) call with questions such as this. To recap: Yes, 22's will fit but the 305/35/22's are to tall and wide.
