Left Rear Tail Light not working - Jeep Liberty 2007

Hi All. I am new to this forum. I have a Liberty 2007 that has its left tail light not
working. I have replaced both the left and right tail light assemblies and both
have new, working bulbs. The brake light which uses the same bulb as the tail
light DOES work. Back up and turn signal works as well. Just the tail light
(running night light) does not. Any idea why? And how to fix? Thanks so much.

I had the same problem with my 06 Liberty. There should be 2 wiring harnesses. Remove the light cover. If you see a single wire attached to nothing than you will likely find the harness it couples with down in the hole thats on the vehicle side after youve separated the bulb housing from the vehicle body. After youve found the little harness there should be an empty male connector, attach the single wire female connector and it should be problem solved!
