Question type: Maintenance & Repair

hello i have changed the spark plus, coils and crank shaft sensor and my jeep
still does the same thing and shows a misfire. someone told me it could be the
catalytic converter. has anyone had an issue like this or know what i can do?

I would compression test cylinder number one. If it's low, you have a valve problem or a ring problem. Hope that helps! Jim

As much as this pains me to say as I also had to replace all of those parts myself. make sure that stuff is as "mopar" as possible. I had started off just buying aftermarket parts initially, and had some pretty serious engine problems... I bought all mopar and 99% of the issues that i was having previously went away..
