battery

Asked by GuruV6JX3 Sep 13, 2018 at 04:02 PM about the 2011 Ford Edge SEL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2011 Ford Edge won't hold a battery charge.  The battery was purchased
on 2/2016 and today 9/13/18 it won't hold a charge.   My dealer is 30 miles
away.  Is it safe to charge that battery and drive it that far?

1 Answer

I would go to the dealer. The battery is probably dying at night due to a parasitic drain. Take jumper cables!
