Is this ignition issue?

2010 Hyundai Sante Fe sometimes after i remove my key from ignition, it still dings as if keys were still in ignition when I open the door. Just recently, once in a while car won't start, but it's not battery (that's fine), it's a smooth turn of ignition with no sound at allsometimes after i remove my key from ignition, it still dings as if keys were still in ignition when I open the door. My guess would be your ignition lock cylinder is worn based on your description.
