SO guys I found the answer!!! I went out to My car during the winter months and haven’t drove it in weeks. The check engine and theft lock light was on the car and it would not start.I unplugged the battery negative terminal and adjusted the positive terminal and guess what!!! I reconnected the negative the next morning and the car started.First step is open the door with the key remove battery from key first.Pop your hood and connect the battery while the key is in the ignition.Next, sorry if it’s kind of confusing but this works and I’m ecstatic about solving this issue and saving hell of cash on a battery or wires! Ok, then while the key was in the ignition I turned it to the point just before you crank the car so the system could check everything. The lights went off and I started the freaking car!!! I was scared to turn off the car but I guess doing this reset the warning lights! I have had nothing but problems with this positive cable of the terminal and I believe there is some type of short in it and there should be a recall because these cars are sketchy

So i completely unplugged my battery for a couple of hours and then reconnected them to the terminal.Opened the driver door with my key and put the key in the ignition just before the spin over position and watched all the lights go off on the dash. The car started.

my experience is worse. Our truck was doing great and today in the morning we try to turn it on but it turns out to be that the anti theft system was activated so I looked up tricks on google, I got it deactivated but right after that I try to start the engine and stabilititrak is not responding and the engine light is on. So frustrating I don't know what's going on

I have a 2015 durmax liz. Just had my cp4 blow and and had my entire fuel system replaced. Installed a cp3 conversion kit. Started driving fine then antifreeze message said it was low, topped it off. Now the anti theft deterrent system popped up, stopped my truck from starting. Took a sec, locked and unlocked my doors, restarted and it ran but with that locked car symbol. It drove but I pulled over, turned engine off, restarted and it ran fine. What could cause this to just pop up and then go away? Spent a lot of money fixing the cp4 damage now this, I'm wiggin out. Help!
