Where did you buy the MAF sensor?? I had same problem on 03 ford f150 v6 and i changed everything related to p0171, p0172, p0175 (fuel system too lean or too rich) i did tune up, i cleaned catalytic converters, inyectors, changed fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump and i checked compression on cylinder and i tested air leaks on intake manifold (smoke test) and more and nothing help me but the real problem was MAF sensor, i bought a cheap sensor on eBayal and it was bad being new. So i had to buy a new one on autozone and no more problems!!

Your right that's what it was. I bought the MAF sensor at napa auto parts. Just so happens it was defective. Replace with a new one and problem gone. Thanks
