2010 nissan rogue with a strong battery has difficulty starting when cold

Maybe it is time for new spark plugs and filters. Use a good fuel system cleaner like Techron.

Well your starter could be drawing the juice right out of the battery. And check your cranking amps on the battery I go with at least 750 crack apps on mine. It's nice to go about 850 for the cold

Check cold cranking amps (CCA) of battery. You live in a cold place most of the year then get a battery with 650-800CCA. 800CCA might be too much when the weather turns warmer when you dont need to defeat the cold.
