Low oil pressure stop engine

I have a 2010 Passat low oil pressure light comes
on I shut off the car I wait a while and then I put it
back on everything seems fine if anybody can help
with this I would highly appreciate it thank you

It happened to me I took it to a lube place they flushed the engine and added some treatment and told me to drive most of the gas out before refueling it’s fine now.
I had the same problem took to a lube shop they flushed the engine added some treatment I had a full tank of gas and was told to drive till almost empty before refueling and now it’s fine.
I had the same issue on a 2012 Passat 5cylinder, it was fine in warm weather but once it got cold the low oil pressure light came on at start up, Last oil change I used a Fram oil filter, this time I used a Mann oil filter and no more issues,...
I took my car to the dealer to get it inspected I pay the usual 135 just to diagnose my car ... everything seems fine oil pressure good and all what they told me is the oil pressure switch harness has fault and send the signal all I had to do what replaced that n my car is gonna be fine ... but I know from them other things can cause it could be OIL PUMP , BEARINGS , OIL SENSOR OR INSIDE THE OIL PAN REMOVE THAT AND U SEE THE OIL PICK-UP THAT THING HAS A SMALL SCREEN SOMETIMES GETS CLOGGED WITH OLD OIL ... SO YEAH .. my light comes up once in a while but no problems n worry and if something happen the dealer would cover the damage ...

my 06 Passat keeps giving me the light after sensor replacement and sump cleaning. when I did my oil change I drained the pan and when pulled the filter I was splashed with a ton of oil. was wondering if the filter could be clogged and apparently so. so after in my mind I'm thinking problem most likely fixed. I took it for a test drive and light again ! after 3500 rpm. Passat for sale!any takers?
