Being a diesel, my first thought is the fuel filter may be clogging up, causing fuel starvation. I'm not sure of the replacement interval but you can never do it too much on a diesel. Learned that working on and driving trucks for many years. We always carried an extra. It beats walking home with the truck stalled in the middle of the highway.
