What is FI service on Mazda CX9?

Just came from the dealer with my 2010 Mazda CX9 w/ 140k miles They
suggested a EFT Service at $350. This involved cleaning the plenum and such,
not just adding additive to the fuel. Has anyone herd of this service and is it
worth it? The car runs great.
