Asked by Guru9SHD9L Oct 05, 2021 at 07:03 PM about the 2010 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I keep finding reddish brown bits on the ground under the engine of my car.
Can't find where they're coming from. What could it be from and potentially
cause? Not the first occurrence. 2010 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible
3.6L.

Guess my photo didn't get through. Not rust. A little spongy sort of like foam that has gotten baked a bit and brittle. Small bits with some 2 " long and 1/8" wide and 1/4 inch thick.
