How hot are the leather seats supposed to get in 2010 4Runner?

Asked by crazyblue66 Jun 06, 2014 at 06:23 PM about the 2010 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took the truck in for service because the seats aren't getting hot enough. On low you
don't feel it at all, on high the dealer said it heated up to a temp of 95 degrees. When I
bought the truck it used to get so hot that I would have turn to the lowest setting. On high
what is the temp supposed to be? The dealer didn't repair it just said it got to 95 degrees,
I am upset about this.

The heating element in the seat, can be replaced. Its not that hard.Sometimes however it needs to be connected correctly with a soldering pencil,or gun.
