4WD and Check Engine light on after car detailing

I just had my 2010 Rav4 professionally deatiled inside and out. Now the the
4WD and check engine lights are on. It seems like this can happen due to
water getting where it shouldn't and triggering the lights? Is there any way to fix
this??

The detailer probably sprayed too much cleaner on the switch or wiring related to the 4WD. I would go after the detail shop before doing anything yourself. The liquid probably shorted out 4WD. If you don't get anywhere with them You can take them to small claims court. If you want to try to fix it yourself go to Walmart or a dollar store and buy a can of compressed air and blow out the switch area. If you.can get the switch panel cover off it will help. You could also try a hair dryer to dry the area out. Of course if you can afford the dealer ship that will be your best bet. Good luck.
First thing you need to do is get it scanned for codes.
I'd wait a few days and see if everything dries out. It might straighten itself out. Spraying lots of water under the hood and underneath the vehicle is a no no. They should have known that! Hope that helps! Jim
