Diagnostic codes on 2010 Honda crv

Check engine light and oil light come on for several seconds and then go off.  
Went to O Reilly had diagnostic codes checked

My honda does the same, it's common to brand. Also true w my past Accuras. I haven't noticed this on many other brands. Shouldn't be an issue if the go off....if they stay on then troublws
