2010 Ford escape wont start

I put the key in the ignition yesterday and put the car in neutal to roll it ahead
a bit without it running.  Today it would not start or even turn over  I have good
headlights and they don't dim when I try starting it

IF you never replaced a battery in this car then that is the problem, its a 7-8 year old car they usually only last 4-5.

Possibly bad ingantion switch, try pushing the key in as you are turning it
