How do I increase the Rear Suspension of my 2010 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer?

Asked by Justin Jun 08, 2020 at 08:05 PM about the 2010 Ford Expedition EL Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I'm pulling an expandable camp trailer with a 8x8 toy deck on the front.  Fully
loaded with my two ATVs its 7,500 pounds.  My Expedition will pull 9,200
pounds and I'm not exceeding my payload limits either. My problem is the
1,500 pounds of ATV on the front really weigh down my tongue weight to the
point I have no suspension so I'm maxing out my tongue weight even with a
weight distribution hitch. I can see that there was an air bag suspension
option that year for my Expedition but I can't find anyone that sells an
aftermarket air suspension for it.  Ford even said they didn't have anything.
So how can I increase the max tongue weight of my Expedition?

You may be able to install HD springs in the rear of your Expedition but you really need to rebalance your trailer.
