2010 malibu

Asked by Miss_molly Jan 21, 2016 at 05:31 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just got in my car turned the key and car started
idling funny, service esc, engine pwr reduced,
service traction all flashing on the panel. My foot
never touched the gas or break! Could this be a
battery issue? 2 months ago I had dealership work
on it because check engine light would not go
away. The dealership replaced 2 sensors and
cleaned the throttle body all costing me $600. ,they
said I could use a new battery but wanted to
charge me $250.00 (I said no). I went to auto zone
and had them test it and was told my battery was
fine. My check engine light is on again and this
happens.

A new battery is under a hundred bucks. (What kind of A-hole charges $250 for a battery?) Good Golly Miss Molly! Get the code read at Auto Zone and post the results here so we don't have to speculate.

a chevy dealership. I'll take it to auto zone as soon as I get out of work. Thanks for the reply
