Car hesitating to start after replacing catalytic converter

Asked by GuruT92ZB Jun 09, 2018 at 02:16 PM about the 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Catalytic converter recently replaced just 2 days ago, now car hesitating before
wanting to start. Anybody know if there's something that could be loose or
maybe wasn't tightened or connected securely and is working its way loose
after hitting a couple of bumps?

The only thing that would cause that problem might be you damaged the oxygen sensor that is just ahead of the converter. You might have done something to the wire going to it. Or have a bad connection where the wire attaches.
