i drove my car through standing water during a downpour -it stalled and we pushed it to higher ground. 12 hours later and it won't start

all you can do is give it time to dry out but if you have a air pump you can try useing the air to blow drying the spark plug leads and wiring scokets

I did this to mine. It melted the main electrical cable coming from the battery, along with melting part of the battery.

what would of happened is it what of caused a electrical fault where when you went through the standing water there probably would have been wires that could of melted so nothing covering them and the water would of maybe blown something i reccomend take it to a garage
