I lost a hubcap on my 2010 Ford Fusion and just ordered a replacement online. It came, but I am having trouble putting it on. It has the lug clamps, but I try and pound them in and its not working. Can anyone help?

You could call your supplier and see if he will send you another...if that doesn't work take a channel locks or vice grip and try to ramp the tabs in. I've had taiwanese easy-rust baby moons and it is a friggin miracle they stay put! nothing holds them in...NOTHING. so bend ahoy and make it fit. Worst that can happen as you cause an accident as your wheel cover guillatines an innocent child,
ive seen some that have 3 lug clamps and 2 holes that arent clamps. look closely at all of them, most likely you will have to take two lug nuts off and then snap it on.

Check the back of the new cover you purchased, does the lug nut holes have snaps on all 5 holes or only on 3. If only 3 then you have to remove two of the lug nuts prior to installation the good luck
My question is if you have already removed the compressions rings can you still use the hub cap if not where can I find them
