Removing battery for long period

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If I were to remove the battery from my Land Rover
LR2 for over a year. Would I have issues with the
car computer after reinstalling the battery a year +
later?

It does not matter if you remove the battery 10 minutes or 1 year. You will lose programming which may or may not cause problems. Worst case is a dealer visit to fix it.
