Selling your car while out of state

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

So kind of a weird situation. My husband is the
Military. We live there in CO but technically our
state of residence is back in New England. So my
car has out of state plates.
So when we went back home to visit. I ended up
staying and not going back and looks like I'll be
staying for awhile to help take care of things.
And I need a car to do so. It's too expensive to ship
it and it's an older car so it's a better option if I just
sell it.
Although I'm about 2,000 miles away, am I still able
to sell my car somehow? Or can my husband sell it
for me with my consent? Thanks for any answers!

If you have the title in your name you should not have a problem selling it. If it is not in your husbands name you probably will have to give him a power of attorney.
