Fuel Tank Sensor

Asked by CPWine1981 Dec 05, 2018 at 07:08 PM about the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Should it really cost over $1k to get the Fuel Tank
Sensor replaced? With $850 being just in labor?

Assuming its inside the tank, and you're getting dealer numbers, then very possibly. One way or another, its mostly removing seats, trim, etc, etc and maybe the tank itself to get at the offending item. I would find a BOSCH repair shop and check pricing for the same job. You might be pleasantly surprised.
