Air Idle Control Sensor ect...

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lol, Ok guys, here it is. I have a 2005 Ford Escape that has been nothing but
trouble from the jump.  the latest issue is a never ending string of problems.
The PCM has been repaired, so all plugs and coils are new. It started this
horrible squealing so I changed the serpentine belt, still an issue next was the
tension-er pulley, Idler pulley, bearing in the AC Compressor, still Squealing
until the car reaches 40 mph? wtf? now the Air Idle Control Sensor is making
a sound like when you pop your finger in the side of your mouth like that song
Lolly Pop Lolly Pop. not to mention that the EGR and Purge Valves are not
registering anything on the Diagnostic Comp, EGR Valve is new so is the fuel
filter.  btw no check engine light no codes showing on Diagnostic Comp. so,
What advice / info / suggestions do you have??? and no this is not a joke

Yes, it's equipped with that little under powered 3.0 v6. Most likely the PC has been reflashed think firmware up date just like updating adobe or java(almost) I'm not sure why all coils were replaced most make it 11 years... At 80,000 miles I advise everyone to install a serpentine belt and to replace ALL idler pulleys and the belt tensioner. IAC valves usually don't make popping noises they just make an engine run like garbage and stall. EVAP valves and solenoids can produce odd sounds! I AGREE Ford builds plenty of garbage just like every other manufacture out there name them I can recite the garbage models and engines! I suggest you try a different / better scan tool... one that can read live Data buffered and display screen waveforms the PCM has lots of info stored along with codes..and NO, check engine light is on.

Everything has been replaced. I really believe the PCM is still damaged. The dang truck is doing the exact same thing it was before I sent it to be repaired. I am dumping so much money into this thing. I am at my wits end
