Why can't I turn the ignition Switch and way the Security light keep bleaking and the rear tires and front tires are looked up on my 2005 ford escape.

My car started up just fine, when I decided to take it to the store. But, when I got done with my shopping. Ignition Switch would absolute not turn, so I could start my engine. Tried moving my steering while back and forth to get my ignition Switch to engage. But, this absolutely would not work. Called up a tow truck. But had a hell of a problem getting it on the trailer. Both front and rear wheels was locked up. Tried to put in nuturel and it was lock up also. So could any on please explain to me. What could be the mater with my Automobile.

It's probably an easy troubleshoot... just oscillate the ignition three or four times from acc power to off, and look directly at the center of the steering wheel. If the middle of the wheel says "ford", go to the "how to sell my car" section of this website.

If your stuck again push in key hard and turn to start i had that same problem and it turns out i need a wire from battery to starter easy fix if you have a handy friend :) but till then push in with key and it will start last awhile that way

My 2008 Ford Escape AWD floor matts keep getting soaked. I thought I had fixed it by making sure the sunroof was closed properly, but it has continued. I have tried to figure out where this is coming from and finally after drying them out again I laid under the the vehicle and both on the drivers side in the middle of the front floor area and the passanger side there is a small hole about the size of a dine right in the middle. That would account for the water coming in after rain storms and such, but why would these two holes be there? Was there a drain area there with plugs and they are missing?
