Question type: General

DOES ANYONE DO THIS?  Not recommended by Toyota and it's like going up a sustained
hill, so, if you run out of battery power,  you'll be crawling.

I don't actually do this, but, we did take our car up through the Rockies at 11,000 feet and we did deplete the battery power. Car would only go 20 miles per hour or so. I doubt that I will take the car up that road again, we were on Highway 70 going east. And , I didn't have any trailer!!

OK, first, I don't tow with my Prius. I just wanted to find out if there were people out there who did! There are many posts of people doing this on the Internet. And, I actually have seen some people towing a small teardrop trailer similar in size to mine. HERE'S A PICTURE OF MY TEARDROP TRAILER.

By the way, a couple other comments for you. I don't know how you can call a $30,000 car an econobox! It's not a cheap car and is the most popular car in California. It's not rated for towing and as I said, I don't do that. My Subaru Outback is used for that.
