noise inside vehicle between driver's side doors located by the driver's left ear

location between doors looks like where a speaker would be by the way the holes are
formed. noise is coming out of it.

It's the On-Star microphone. They are a pain in the butt. I don't know how to make it go away either short of pulling the fuse for the On-Star if you're not using it.
