BATTERY LIGHT

I have a 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis..battery light stays on..charges just
fine...I put several new alternators on it and the  same thing.....I've been driving
it for 9 mos this way charges just fine,starts strong. the light just stays on.

Put a DC volt meter on it to see what the charging voltage is. The PCM controls the alternator and it may be overcharging. If it is overcharging the battery will eventually be ruined.
