Drivers Side AC not cold?

Asked by MarinerMercury Jun 02, 2020 at 03:00 PM about the 2009 Mercury Mariner Premier V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Earlier when I was driving I attempted to use the
cold AC in my 09 Mariner but only warm air was
coming out. The passenger side is fine, cold air
coming out with no problem. What could the
problem be? It is starting to get beautiful out so
don't mind driving with the roof window open. Just
want to prepare myself for any repairs.

It's called a air distribution box .it moves a dampener/ blade /flap from one vent tube to the other .simple fix move blade to the center .lock in place.air will then be balanced on Both sides ? another part / problem that didn't even need to be put on a car in the first place....
