I am having my outer tie rod ends replaced and front lower control arms on my ford escape. Unfortunately the mechanic can't do a tire alignment for me and i would need to take it into a shop. There are car shops down the road from my house where he will be doing the work but I am afraid I wont be able to drive my car anywhere after the tie rods are replaced. My question is how far can I safely drive, if at all after getting my tie rods replaced without a wheel alignment ?
