AT dashboard light< what does this indicate?

just changed the transmission fluid and filter 3 days ago......now AT light on
dashboard came on.....does this mean that the transmission is bad?

f the automatic transaxle warning indication/light illuminates, the transaxle has an electrical problem. Continuing to drive your Mazda in this condition could cause damage to your transaxle. Consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorized Mazda Repairer as soon as possible.

No necessarily, sometimes changing the fluid and filter can loosen up some varnish and of course it winds up in one of the shift solenoids or valve body and turns on the light due to incorrect pressures. Best bet is to have a good transmission shop run a few tests on it to find out why the light is on.
