The back passenger door would not open from outside and then when it was open (from inside) someone put child lock on, now it won't open at all. What do I do?

The panel will have to be removed from door to get to the lock rod in door, you may have to open the other rear door, and remove back seat,to get the panel off, once you have removed panel, you can click the child safety lock off,and open door to repair the door handle.

But is it possible to open the panel up from the inside when the door is closed? Same thing happened to me.

Yank the rubber weather strip off, wedge a putty knife into the crevice, and pull down to open the child lock mechanism. The door will open only from the inside, however. Look at the location of the child lock on the good door to gauge where you insert the putty knife. No need to remove screws and take off the panel.

I literally just stuck a credit card in to switched the child lock back to unlock. Only took a few seconds and no need to remove trim and inside panel.
