Replaced ballast an light comes On for about a min
then cuts off...any ideas?

If your car is a BMW and you bought your ballast without the OSRAM ( Hella ) brand then that is most likely your problem. Cheap ballast are good if you know electrical schematics but then you would just buy OSRAM
