Blinking check engine light

I have an 09 Camry and the check engine light started
flashing and car started to shake. What does that mean?

Have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes and write them down. You can have this done at an auto parts store. I think it could mean something wrong with the catalytic converter. Just have the vehicles scanned to see what the problem is.

If that light is coming then there will be a code stored and can be retrieved !

Flashing check engine light means miss-fire(s) occurring. Driving it with a flashing check engine light may lead to catalytic converter destruction. Do some reading at the link I will post below.
