I'm  about  to buy a friend's beautiful 328 convertible 2008 instead of being
sensible and buying an  estate. I've had BMW Saab  and  Merc convertibles for
10 years but occasionally  I  surf

You will need to purchase cross bars and possibly a board cradle. Check out thule.com
